From a single butchers shop in Sydney, Cleaver’s products are now a family favorite, sold in supermarkets across Australia. But even though we’ve grown to an international concern from our humble beginnings, we never lost sight of what we set out to do: Provide families with the most flavorful and healthy meats that have been raised to the highest humane, ethical standards.
The standards for Australian Certified Organic, free range, grass-fed meats are more stringent than the American standards—ones that we’re proud to uphold. We source all of our beef from a group of carefully selected family farmers. Each of our farms adheres to the highest standards of animal welfare. This includes raising the animals free from confinement: Cleaver’s products are all from animals humanely raised in a free range environment and exceed all USDA Certified Organic meats requirements.
Cleaver’s Organic cattle are raised free range without the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides, GMO’s, antibiotics or added growth hormones, and are grass fed outdoors from start to finish, with constant access to sunlight and fresh clean water.
